Straight answers to the questions we hear most from learners in Tilburg — about lessons in English, foreign licences, how many lessons you'll need and how to book your free trial.
Do you give driving lessons in English?
Yes. Every lesson can be taught fully in English, from your first drive to the CBR exam — or in Dutch or French if you prefer. Most of our students in Tilburg are expats, international students and people working in the region.
How do I book a free trial driving lesson in Tilburg?
Fill in the short form on this page or message us on WhatsApp at +31 646 828 681, and we'll arrange a time that suits you. The trial lesson is free, with no obligation to continue.
How many driving lessons will I need?
It depends on your experience. Complete beginners usually need a full course, while people who have driven abroad often need far fewer lessons. After your free trial lesson we'll give you a realistic estimate, so you only pay for what you actually need.
Can I exchange my foreign driving licence in the Netherlands?
It depends on where your licence was issued. EU and EEA licences can generally be exchanged, and some non-EU licences can too — for example if you qualify for the 30% ruling. Otherwise you'll need to pass the Dutch theory and practical exams. RDW publishes the official rules, and if you need the exams, we'll get you ready for them.
Are your instructors certified?
Yes. All our instructors are certified, and lessons follow RIS (Rijopleiding in Stappen) — a structured, step-by-step method that builds each skill in a clear order before moving on to the next.
Can you help if I'm nervous about driving?
Yes — it's one of the things we specialise in. We regularly teach learners with driving anxiety, ADHD or autism, and older drivers returning to the road. Lessons go at your pace, and you decide when you're ready for the exam.
